Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept new patients?

Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. If you are a new patient and book an appointment at our clinic, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to complete our new patient form.

How do I remember when my appointment is?

We send SMS reminders the day prior to your scheduled appointment. If you receive a reminder and realise you cannot attend your appointment, please either reply to the SMS or call us on (08) 8682 3170 to reschedule.

I need to cancel my appointment, what do I do?

We understand that life happens and schedules change. To cancel your appointment, please call us on (08) 8682 3170 or email info@parkterracedental.com.au at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

 

How do I pay for my appointment?

We accept cash, card, and cheque payments for all appointments. Payment for treatment is to be finalised on completion of each visit unless other arrangements have been discussed with your treating dentist.

 

We do not currently accept AMEX, Afterpay, or ZipMoney.

Do you accept DVA patients?

Yes we do! Please bring your Veteran Card to your scheduled appointment.

Do you accept SA Dental forms?

Yes we do! Eligible patients must retrieve a valid form prior to attending our clinic for treatment and bring their concession card to their appointment.

Which Health Funds do you accept?

We accept all major health funds and most other registered health funds.

               

We are a part of the NIB First Choice Network and HCF More for Teeth program, so any patients who have private health insurance with NIB or HCF will be able to claim more back from our clinic.

 

I am nervous/anxious about my upcoming appointment. What can I do?

Nerves and anxiety about visiting the dentist are completely normal. At Park Terrace Dental we strive to create a calm and safe environment for all of our patients, from the moment they walk through the front door to even after they leave. If you have any particular accommodations you think would make your visit easier for you, please let our friendly reception staff know so we can prepare everything for you in advance
